Our Objective

To provide a fun event for flight simulation pilots to compete with others from every corner of the globe, and to test the flight and navigation skills of pilots during 10 flights over Australia from Darwin down through Western Australia.

The Great Australian Air Rally 2024

This year we are joined by WestWind Airlines again in presenting the GAAR. This should allow us to present fights for FS9, FSX, P3D, MSFS and X-Plane.

Flights and airfield information will be available from mid March.

We begin at Geraldton before heading North along the coast to Darwin  in 10 flights. The longest leg is 345nm. The daily flights are supplied with weather based on April 2023.

No one under 13 years of age may participate without a parent or guardians approval.  Have them email me at gaar15director(at)gmail.com for special instructions on signing up. Replace the (at) with @
