Climbing to 7500'  Heading 097 deg.  1055 miles to go.

Heading out over the Persian Gulf.  Next landfall Bushehr, Iran.  We have been cleared by the Iranian Gov't to fly along the coasty to Pakistan.

Special note--remember way back in the beginning of this epic journey, I mentioned that I couldn't find some of my charts?  If you had picked -Kuwait - Karachi - Calcutta, you would have won.  But no problem my hearty's I know the way.

Level at 7500' , 1030 miles to go.

Ahead on the left is Khark Island with a 5900' runway.  Shortly after Khark Island we will cross the Iranian border and Bushehr airport.  Bushehr has two 14,668' runways with NDB 341 and VOR 112.2.  Next is Tohid with a 7710' runway VOR 116.8

Climb to 9500'

That is Jahrom an Oasis in the desert at 3350' elevation.

90 deg. to the left is Bandar Abbas.  Bandar Abbas Intl has 2 12000' runways, NDB 250 and a VOR 113.1.  This is where the Straights narrow between Iran and Dubai with the Persian Gulf on one side and the Gulf on Oman on the other ant this blends in with the Arabian Sea.

Not much of anything between here and the Pakistani Border.  First will be Iran Shahr Airport with a 8100' runway, a Vor117.0 and an NDB 309.

Off there is Kowarak Airport on the gulf with a 12000' runway a VOR 116.9 which is just before the border with Pakistan.

Approaching Pakistan 40 miles off. 

Just crossed the border 290 miles to go.  That is Turbat a small airfield with a 6000' runway and an NDB 237.

On the coast there is Omara Airport with a 500' runway and an NDB 380
