Our Objective

To provide a fun event for flight simulation pilots to compete with others from every corner of the globe, and to test the flight and navigation skills of pilots during 10 flights across the US from New York to San Francisco. We will be following the route of the first Transcontinental Airmail route from September 1920.

Welcome to

The Transcontinental Airmail Centenary Rally 2020

This year we are joined by WestWind Airlines in presenting the TACR. This should allow us to present fights for FS9, FSX, P3D and Xplane. We will also have airfield information prepared by John Allard at Mutley's Hangar.

Flights and airfield information will be available from mid August.

We begin at New York and head West to San Francisco. The longest leg is 274nm and the shortest runway is 3,800'. The daily flights are listed with recommended weather.

No one under 13 years of age may participate without a parent or guardians approval.  Have them email me at gaar15director(at)gmail.com for special instructions on signing up. Replace the (at) with @
