In 1944 almost every airline flight in the continental United States was flown with a DC-3. All of the more modern aircraft were used for transport of military personnel and supplies in support of World War II.

The feature of the Month will concentrate on Flight #3 “The Texanaire” (misspelled on the schedule above)
