Could not find POLI, so diverted to UBW.
Saw the airstrip beacon, but could not see the runway even at 200 ft, so
diverted on to PASC hoping to use the ILS there. Ran out of fuel 3 miles out of PASC, and had
to glide into a landing approx. 1.5 miles north of the runway.

up to altitude. Had to abort first attempt to land at 9AK as the Jenny started
doing a weird sideways/tail down kind of jig/hop on (first) final. Nailed it on
second attempt. Plane handled much better on way back to Gold King Creek AFB
(AK32). Still a slow aircraft.
