Brent Brazeel, nat003, Ford Tri-Motor, 1, 70, Used Real Weather and flew on Bushnet2 with Bill Von Sennet and Coleman Green.  Great flight and even better company.

Brent Brazeel, nat003, Ford Tri-Motor, 2, 39, Another Great Multiplayer flight with Bill Von Sennet and Coleman Green

Brent Brazeel, nat003, Ford Tri-Motor, 3, 45, Flown solo trying to catch back up with Bill and Coleman

Brent Brazeel, nat003, Ford Tri-Motor, 4, 74, Good flight today.  Raining at Lansing so Coleman got a little wet in the open cockpit Davis.  Bill von sennet led the way in his beautiful blue trimmed Stinson.  Great flight and interesting scenery along the way.

Bill Odell, nat036, Curtiss C-46, 6, 47, Nothing unual on this flight

John Lawler, nat002, Fokker F XVIII, 1, 75, Quiet IFR flight over a low overcast - after I downloaded all that nice scenery too!

John Lawler, nat002, Fokker F XVIII, 2, 47, Better weather for walking than flying, 1000' overcast, solid up to 8000'. Mega turbulence for about 15 minutes - very glad Mr Fokker built 'em tough.

John Lawler, nat002, Fokker F XVIII, 3, 47, Weather cleared enough to allow a nice VFR flight.

John Lawler, nat002, Fokker F XVIII, 4, 80, Low cloud over Chicago, did a let-down over the lake, and a low run over Meigs. Went back up top and IFR'd to KMWC. Weather steadily improving.

John Lawler, nat002, Fokker F XVIII, 5, 96, VFR all the way!

John Lawler, nat037, DC-3, 1, 51, IFR run using NDB. Intend to not use VOR or DME unless absolutely necessary. GPS - what's a GPS?

John Lawler, nat037, DC-3, 2, 31, Wow!! While trying to maintain 140 knots at 4000' in very bumpy cloud, found myself doing 190 knots at 1800' with 2500'/min ROC. Then it was 1500'/min ROC and 65 knots. (Angelina complained that she couldn't serve the coffee)

John Lawler, nat037, DC-3, 3, 34, Another EKGann-type experience:- while crossing the glidepath for KGYY some totally unexpected turbulence INVERTED the DC-3 (has FS or Real Weather the ability to simulate jetwash from a 737?).  This tour is getting very interesting.

John Lawler, nat037, DC-3, 4, 50, Low cloud over Chicago, but still managed a salute to Meigs. Weather improved further north.

John Lawler, nat037, DC-3, 5, 65, VFR all the way.

Bill Von Sennet, nat032, DC-3, 7, 57, Straight out departure rw18 (nice views of Minneapolis on right, St Paul on left)  Must have had some crosswinds as I ended up north east of Mason City when the 359.0 ndb became active.  Flew toward the ndb, descended to 3,000 then turned onto an 8 mile final rw17 (cheated a little looking at the map on fsnav)

Brent Brazeel, nat003, Ford Tri-Motor, 6, 97,

Peter Fellowes, nat004, DH Tiger Moth, 1, 78, Flew on Bushnet but sadly nobody else was logged on at the same time. Used real Weather. Took off runway 27R landed runway 35. Haze at 5,500 for most of the way, but a good flight.

Peter Fellowes, nat004, DH Tiger Moth, 2, 42, Used real weather, good Moth flying weather. Flew with Bushnet but again nobody else logged on at the same time. Take off runway 35 landed runway 27L. This is great fun.

Peter Fellowes, nat004, DH Tiger Moth, 3, 48, Used real weather and Bushnet. Good weather for a Moth but some haze near Lansing. 22500rpm speeding along at 90mph.

Vis was only 3 nm at 9:35 local time using real weather and I flew over scattered clouds until I entered a cloud bank about halfway to Kalamazoo.  But vis increased to over five miles on approach to KAZO.

Ron Bushell, nat007, DC-3, 2, 22, Luc Vanesse and Bob Betts joined on RW and we will fly leg 3 together.  Luc lives in Canada but was using a laptop in his hotel room in California...amazing technology.  Weather was lovely, calm, and clear on takeoff at 11:55 local time.

Ron Bushell, nat007, DC-3, 3, 38, Nice to have company with Lub and Bob on the tarmac at South Bend.  Bob Betts, who lives close to Chesterton, gave us a great guided tour on the way to Lansing.  Shortly after we landed, Bob dashed off to photograph the real planes in the tour flying overhead.  Lucky fellow.  Fine start to a fine event.  Ron

Kerry LeBlanc, nat044, DC-3, 4, 58, Great weather, seemed to have a bit of a headwind. Made a pass over Meigs as many other pilots will do. Dipped my wings in salute and flew on.

Allan Lowson, nat010, HP-42, 10, 84, Miserable Weather and nearly missed the approach. Saved by form drag and stol handling.

Allan Lowson, nat010, HP-42, 11, 54, Slid in under the clag, Tulsa got shirty when I formation landed with a Cessna. Not my fault they ignored the "Steam gives way to Sail" rule.

Allan Lowson, nat010, HP-42, 12, 111, Tower didn't appreciate being buzzed by Imperial elegance on take-off. Queen Victoria said we should send a gunboat for their impertinance.

Ron Bushell, nat007, DC-3, 9, 70, Flown MP with Bob Betts and Luc Vanasse at 2500 feet.  Luc led and navigated without radios using only highways, rivers, airports, and towers.  And the vis was only 1 to 2 miles at times.  Whew! I kept my eyes glued to Luc's DC-3, but I also dialed in a few NDBs along our way!
