Hello
from Allan Lowson I must start by thanking Bill for
everything he has done for us here at Bluegrass down the years, and hope that
a bit of R&R will revive him for many years to come. I should also pay tribute
to Mary Ann, whose support of Bill from the wings has benefited us all. I hope to be able to lean on his advice as
I get the hang of things, and hope that Mary Ann frees him from the list of
“Things for newly retired CEOs to do round the house” from time to time. I have been around Bluegrass Airlines for
about eight years now, having participated in the 2003 GAAR with my then new
installation of FS2002. I was drawn in by the freedom from restrictive rules
and emphasis on enjoying what we do, so don’t expect too many changes in that
direction from me. We are always open to suggestions for new
ideas about activities on Bluegrass Airlines, and Andrew’s expansion of the
GAAR to the Great Air Rally Grand Prix is a particularly innovative idea to
encourage new membership and foster co-operation with other VAs. I look forward to hearing from you as we
venture onwards and upwards, and of course would welcome any willing
volunteers helping round the site as Bill suggested last month. I would also like to echo Bill’s thank you
to you all for being a part of Bluegrass Airlines. Your participation in events and on
the forum makes Bluegrass the enjoyable and informative site it is. |
