GAAR 2008 Is Complete!

Final Standings

The competition was intense. There were disputes, refutes and reboots. But now the virtual planes are safely tucked back into their dusty hangars and its time to reveal the winners.

Drum roll please ...

Congratulations to Ed Burke as the top scorer for Bluegrass and 6th place overall.

It should be noted that Deer Valley Flying Club achieved a total score of 986, but since they were this years organizers have been very kind to pass the first place honors to us.

I was discouraged by the Bluegrass turnout, and the many negative comments left on our forum about this years GAAR.   Deer Valley should be admired for taking on the challenge of running GAAR 2008.

Don’t forget to check out the forum and add your 3 cents.

That’s all for now,

Bill Von Sennet
