Mike Stone Retirement

Mike Stone has decided to retire from Flight Simulator aircraft design and pursue other endeavors.  He has been a prolific designer of many different types of aircraft, but of particular interest to Bluegrass Airlines have been his designs of vintage aircraft, many of which can not be found anywhere else.  Our FS2004 hangar has repaints of 15 of his designs.  Many of his aircraft can be found at www.flightsim.com and www.avsim.com

Luke bgan021 has sent in this screenshot as a tribute to Mike Stone for his support to the flight sim community.

WestCoastATC time for May 2007

Changing winds at BGA with multiplayer online members flying a record number of online hours the last month putting BGA on top of the West Coast Virtual Flight Organizations for most of the month.  These hours are formidable and the pilots that have enjoyed these ‘free servers’ keep coming back. This includes many hours on ‘Official ATC Sessions’ hosted by Westcoast ATC.   Bluegrass’s own ‘Smithy’ has also created some Project Flights he hopes members will come to look forward to and enjoy.

Pilots who do not log any time on WestCoastATC for two consecutive months will be removed from the bga profile at WestCoastATC.   The purpose of this is to increase our average hours per pilot.  If you want to be reactivated click “Join Virtual Airline” and select Bluegrass.  I’ll put you back on the next time I log in.

I’ve noticed some pilots are flying on WestCoastATC but have never clicked on “Join Virtual Airline” and associated their call sign with Bluegrass.   Also some pilots are flying, but not filing flightplans or using teamspeak.

That’s all for now,

Bill Von Sennet
