Update on the G.A.A.R. 2005

All pilots should send me an email when they complete the G.A.A.R. so that I can send them an Award Plaque.

Bluegrass pilots should send me an email if they quit flying the G.A.A.R. so that I can add any G.A.A.R. hours since March 31st to the roster.

The GAAR is winding down, only a few pilots are still enroute.

Multi-Player Flying

WestcoastATC has virtually abandoned AOTC.  Most everyone is back to flying on Server 1,2 or 3.

Detailed instructions for removing AOTC from your computer are located at:

  www.westcoastatc.com/prefsetup3.shtml

I printed the instructions and removed the aotc client without any problems in about 5 minutes.  One of our pilots reported that he lost some gauges when he deleted aotc.  Not sure how that could happen, but be forewarned.  If I was doing it after hearing that news, I would copy everything in Flight Simulator 9/Gauges to a temporary folder first.

It might be a good idea, to keep serveinfo on your computer.  You may be needing it soon.

Here is a snapshot of pilots hours logged on WestCoastATC.   Hours logged on ATOC are not shown.  They will be added to the system some day, I’m told.

Pilots, remember to report all of your flights using the “Submit Flight Report” link on the main Bluegrass Page.

Don’t forget to check out the forum and screen shot pages.

The Rosters and “View Flight Reports” pages are usually updated on Wednesday and Sunday.  There will be a break in that pattern this month.  Flight reports will be updated Aug 3rd, 6th, 9th, 12th, 28th and 31st.

That’s all for now,

Bill Von Sennet
