TOTAL TIME BY VISITING
PILOTS IN JANUARY: 22.93 hrs
TOTAL TIME WITHIN THE
NORTHERN DIVISION: 97.86 hrs
2. Hours are
identified as being flown out of the Northern Division "at-large,"
the Bangor Hub, or other Divisions, etc. and summed for the month. Some
hours are from the year 2002 due to receipt of late flight reported.
3. Three new pilots
joined the Northern Division this month. They are Don Hulick (BGAN033),
Perry Hayward (BGAN034), and Gene Ward (BGAN035).
Sr. Capt. Bob Thompson
Southern Division Pilots flew 242.91 hours and a visitor flew 2.00 hours
We had 5 new pilots sign up: Teun
Langeveld, Tim Pinkawa, Gary McCarty, Rocky Wallace and Sandi Koprivec.
Pilots Hank Robinson, John Stone,
Steve Huxter, Mattias Udd and Rob O’Neil have been removed from the roster.
After two months of inactivity, a
pilot is marked as “Inactive”. At that
time an e-mail is sent to determine the pilots future status. If no response is received it is assumed
the pilot is not interested in remaining on the roster. We hate to lose pilots,
but it is not our intention to have a lot of inactive pilots listed on the
roster.
Gary McCarty (bgas031) has been
promoted to First Officer.
Congratulations!
William (Bill) Agee (bgas006) has
passed the 1,500 hour mark! We don’t
have any higher ranks to award him, but it is an occasion worthy of recognition.
Visitors flew 51.84 hours.
From the C.E.O.
Wow! A record month for flight time.
Altogether 35 Bluegrass pilots flew 890.78 hours.
The web-site broke the record for
transferring data: 3.69 gigabytes.
The number of visitors was 3,952
(not a record) but they stayed around long enough to view 12,351 pages which is
a record.
You can view all the stats yourself
at http://www.bluegrassairlines.com/webstats
Of particular interest to me are
the top 30 countries that our visitors come from. In January Slovenia and Lithuania appeared on the list for the
first time.
The February Feature of
the Month is on-site. It is the TWA
1935 New York to Los Angles flights using the DC-2.
The Main Roster has been
updated with all the pilots hours and totals for each division.
Thanks for your participation, it
is what makes my job worth doing.
Capt. Bill
P.S. Don’t forget to check out the screenshots and the pilots forum.
From the General Manager
Capt. Brian is busy getting ready for “The Second Annual Great Aussie Air Race” Check the main page for links to the web-site which should be up within a week or so.
