017, 8, GA Monospar ST-10, 135, Very interesting leg, particularly the changes of wind direction during the later stages. The drift sight and E6B were in almost constant use. Taxiing back up YMPQ/28 to the turnoff at YPMQ had to be a bit brisk (about 35 kts) as there was a Beech 1900D visible on finals and I didn't want any unpleasantness...

086, 8, Cessna 150, 122, Transit at 7000ft. Got a little sidetracked and missed the airport, had to double back alythough the fringe benefit was longer to view the excellent scenery.

170, 8, Douglas DC3, 90, Getting the hang of taxi-ing/turning with differential brakes and thrust now and also managing to work the power settings to avoid much of the yaw on takeoff.   Using the prescribed altitudes for the sector(s) and picking up some chop here and there.  So far the trip has been really nice and the VOZ scenery makes it even better!   Had some great views of Sydney Harbour and the crusie ships as well as the airport.  Here's to the next one!

018, 8, Curtiss C46, 82, Port MacQuarie came up out of the dark quite quick but was able to put it down smooth. By the way dont you Australians have any weather, always clear can get boring. You should try some of my Winnipeg winter, ice, snow, rain, hail and wind sometimes all at the same time, besides if you dont like it, wait 5 minutes and it will change for you.

018, 5, Curtiss C46, 41, Most of the flight was uneventful. Would have been nice to be able to dial up the NDB at YLTV. My old coffee grinder ADFs wouldnt tune to it on the upper or lower bands. Definitely an eyeball landing.
