Compared to other parts of this journey the scenery here is very boring.

We only cross a small section of Oklahoma before we are back in Texas.  That's oil country down there.

Dallas 226 miles to go.  About 45 miles to Wichita Falls, there we turn to Bowie, named not after the Knife, but after the guy the Knife was named after.  Jim Bowie.

Turning to FUZ now (which is Ranger at DFW).

At 20 DME FUZ turn 8- deg to our base.

Descending to 3500'.  Waiting for the ILS to become active.

From UKW continue at 117 deg until intercepting the FL NDB 219    fly direct to FL until intercepting Dallas-Love RW 13R ILS 111.1

Tune in Dallas-Love VOR (CVE) 116.2  begin descent to 3500’ when 20 miles DME from CVE

On long final pass DFW on right.  (Don’t worry about any traffic it don’t think it existed in 1955!)
