We have to make a few aircraft movements to help out the problems arising north of Churchill (CYYQ).  The ice is coming and people north of Churchill didn’t get their winter supplies in, in time.  So we will send 2 C-46’s to Churchill to fly the supplies arriving at the railhead to Rankin Inlet (CYRT) and Hall Beach (CYUK).  We want to move the fuel oil as soon as possible then the food shipments and then the remaining air cargo.  We are sending an Otter to Rankin Inlet and one to Hall Beach these two aircraft will move the supplies moved into Rankin and Hall out to the outlying sites as expeditiously as possible.  I just completed a run out to Rankin in an Otter and saw the ice creeping south.
